Development on Sperwill paramotors is an ongoing process with improvements made on almost every unit. Our approach is always through design but some improvements are made trough the trustly trial and error process. All Sperwill paramotors are fitted with unique custom designed harness, lower swing arms and performance-tuned engines based on lightweight stong rigid frames designed and manufactured in the UK. All pilot weights are catered for, especially the lighter pilot, who is looking for that extra takeoff power.

Frame & Swing arms

Alloy steel with a high carbon content and thin wall thickness is used for its high tensile strength and durability properties on on many custom (stainless steel is also available) Sperwill paramotors. Aluminium Alloy is more commonly found in all our production models. The lower swing arms, unique to Sperwill, allow the pilot good weightshift steering but also benifits from high pitch stability and launch with ease. This feathure also minimizes the torque and gyroscopic effects. The harness is fitted at 7° angle to the verticle to improve pilot seating comfortability and thrustline correction. Attaching the glider's risers to the swing arms is quick and safe using only the best hardware spercially developed for powered flying. Paramotoring with the swing arms does relieve uncomfortable pressure on your chest, as the flying position remains very similar to that of free flying.

Harness

Sperwill paramotor harness is custom made with an integrated reserve system and several hardware back-up features. Made from strong durable nylon fabric and polyester webbing with quick release buckles and adjustment straps, the harness is developed for function as well as comfort such as fold-over seat extention for added leg support during longer flights. Sperwill only use AustriAlpin hardware specially developed for paragliding and paramotoring.

Motor

Consistent and well thought through development rewarded Sperwill with 6 paramotor models. Components have been optimised and improved until we established paramotors which offer that extra bit of power, strength, reliability and quietness. Weights in all cases are competitively light.
